    USA: Bill Joll

CEO, ISC8 (formerly Irvine Sensors), and former CEO, Real Player

Legacy is not charity. Legacy is not philanthropy. Legacy is not wealth management. So what is legacy? Legacy is a way of working. A way of living. For some people there’s always a drive to do something bigger.

    INDIA: Saurabh Srivastava

    Former Chairman, Computer Associates, India

There's an external drive to leave a legacy – to give back, say thank you. Heaven knows there are enough deserving if not desperate communities in the world. But there are also the internal drives to leave a legacy. We forget these at our peril.

  • USA: Adam House

    CEO of QualMetrix

Strange as it may seem, we often start a legacy without thinking clearly enough about the future. For instance, is a legacy a one-time project with a start and finish line? Or is it an institute to serve your cause forever? When will a legacy no longer be needed?
